Back in the Day

I designed and dressed sets to capture an authentic 1990s look, shaped the film's lighting as gaffer, created all graphic design elements, from set dressing to promotional materials, and led social media marketing to build the film's audience ahead of release. A phone-addicted teen wakes up transported to the 1990s, stripped of the technology she's never lived without. Forced to adapt to a world without smartphones or social media, she rediscovers what teenagers did before screens took over. Part culture-clash comedy, part coming-of-age story, the film reflects on our modern relationship with technology, what we've gained, and what we've lost. ensured full copyright compliance for Back in the Day, sourcing all visual assets through a licensed Shutterstock subscription and avoiding editorial-only, watermarked, or unlicensed content.
